I am an ant on a hill

[this is good]
I just read up about Edgar Cayce. He kinds of reminds me of Buddhism a bit. I think people who meditate regularly notice something that we don't usually notice in everyday life. I think it's hard for scientists to quantify it, because we don't really have the tools for it. So far we can experience these things, but can't really explain them (yet anyway).
Yes, I watched a History Channel special about him and think the concept is very interesting. What is especially interesting is that when he would meditate/have visions, they say he would focus on his solar plexus, where his hands would lay at...to me, this is interesting because this was 100 years ago when not many people in western culture knew what the "solar plexus" was.
I just looked up about the "solar plexus". It says it's "a large plexus of sympathetic nerves in the abdomen". My zen teacher has a theory that when we meditate our sympathetic nerves and our parasympathetic nerves balance out, and we become "balanced". I wonder if it's related.

Good luck!
